Nothing gets in the way of long trips and heavy loads, thanks to its optional DualBattery and co-sprung luggage carrier. Its 60 cm-long loading surface can be equipped to meet your needs – depending on whether you need to transport luggage, your little ones, or four-legged friends.
The manoeuvrable Load5 60 remains in contact with the ground, even on uneven terrain and riding quickly – and gives you total control. All thanks to Riese & Müller Control Technology with front wheel suspension, suspension rear swing arm and co-sprung luggage carrier. Optional Bosch eBike ABS ensures maximum safety when stopping. Alternatively, opt for the IBS for optimum brake force distribution every time.
The frame of the Load5 60, which can carry up to a total weight 200 kg, is made of 25% recycled aluminium. Thanks to its adjustable stem and flexible seat position, it can be quickly adapted to body heights from 1.50 to 2.00 m and your preferences – from sporty to ultra-relaxed. It's standard dropper seatpost comes into its own giving you maximum control particularly when stopping with a heavy load.

Transport of Children:

The Kiox 500 display cannot fail to impress with its large display and ease of reading – even in challenging riding conditions. Ideal for sportier rides, it records your fitness data and can also be coupled to heart rate monitors by Bluetooth. The Kiox 500 is intuitive to operate using the Purion 200.
DualBattery Technology perfected by Riese & Müller ensures twice the range or far higher climbs, fewer charging breaks and longer-lasting riding pleasure. With the 1,600 Wh available, completely new destinations can be reached and you no longer have to worry about the range in your daily routine.
The Cargo kit consists of high side walls with tarpaulin and is ideal when you need to transport larger items. The loading volume is around 100 litres. A sturdy and water-repellent tarpaulin reliably protects your load from prying eyes and the elements. It is screwed to the front wall and can be rolled up when not in use.
The Dog kit consists of a mat and strap for your four-legged friend. The mat fills the entire base of the box, providing a comfortable bed for your dog to lie on. A strap with carabiner clip, the length of which can be adjusted, is attached to the dog’s collar or harness, holding it securely during the journey. You can store toys and treats in the handy glove compartment in the loading area. Low side walls make it easy for your dog to jump into the box, at the same time giving your four-legged friend the best views as you ride along.
The Family kit consists of low side walls with child cover, two child seats with footwell, and a co-sprung luggage carrier holding up to 15 kg. Low side walls make it easy for your passengers to get in and out. The practical cover reliably protects them from the elements – and simply open the side walls for optimum fresh air ventilation.
Children up to the age of 7 can sit comfortably on the two adjustable seats. The seats can be mounted singly or centrally, and can also be folded down into a sleeping position. Cushioned five-point seat belts ensure the safety of your passengers. Please observe national regulations governing the transport of children on bikes before using.
The Performance kit consists of particularly lightweight and high-performance chassis components. They have been specially developed for cargo bikes and their spring firmness and shock absorption can be adapted to different comfort requirements and rider weights: the Suntour Mobie air suspension fork with 80 mm travel and the Suntour shock absorber with 80 mm travel on the rear wheel. With the shock absorber, you also have the option of selecting by lever whether your cargo bike is loaded or unloaded. (Available from February 2026)
The Integral Braking System perfectly distributes the braking force between the front and rear brakes: when you operate the rear brake lever, the IBS simultaneously causes the front wheel to slow down proportionately. If the braking force is insufficient due to the heavy load you are carrying, you can also operate the front brake lever. The IBS lets you combine the operation of both brakes – comfortably and safely with just one hand. Additional benefits: the braking distance is reduced by up to 40%, riding stability is increased, and wear parts wear down evenly.
With Bosch eBike ABS you can use the front brake more safely and assuredly. It can prevent the front wheel from locking and helps to avoid possible skidding or crashing over the handlebars – even if you suddenly brake hard on grippy tarmac or slippery gravel paths. Wheel speed sensors monitor the speed of the wheels.
If locking of the front wheel is anticipated during excessive braking, Bosch eBike ABS controls braking pressure and improves the riding stability and steerability of the e-bike – this is particularly evident on slippery surfaces. In the event of extreme overbraking of the front wheel, the intelligent Bosch eBike ABS rear wheel lift control reduces the possibility of unwanted lifting of your rear wheel.
If you like riding your e-bike off-road, then simply equip it with first-class Schwalbe Smart Sam Cargo tires. They are suitable for very heavy loads and provide the best possible puncture protection. The closed central area guarantees good rolling resistance, while the block tread around the edge provides a secure grip in puddles and around bends. The wide flat VP 538 pedals provide grip for your feet.
